Brindisi is an excellent starting point to reach the interesting places which surrounded the area of the town.

Ostuni, called the White City for its famous old town built on the hill and made of white houses connected by arches and steps. Rich in history, the town offers a lively nightlife without losing the charm of the ancient time.

Cisternino, which has got the orange flag (award for tourism-environmental quality), is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. A fascinating old town for its architectural but also for the numerous grilled meat restaurants. Center of positive energies, since 1979 it hosts the first ashram founded in the West (www.bolebaba.org).

Mesagne with its delightful heart-shaped old town has many Apulian settlements from the archaeological remains to the castle, to the sumptuous churches which tell us its glorious past.

The historic center of Carovigno with the famous castle of Dentice di Frasso, Ceglie Messapica, one of the most important centres of Apulian enogastronomy, home of the prestigious Mediterranean Cooking School, Francavilla Fontana and the Basilica of the Most Holy Rosary with the highest dome of the Salento, Oria and the traces left by the Emperor Frederick II of Swabia. Ancient civilizations’s lovers cannot forget to visit the Lama d’Antico Rock Park near Fasano, one of the largest rock villages in Puglia and the archaeological area of Egnazia, an ancient treasure to be admired by the sea.
