Le masserie fanno da matrone, legate alla storia del territorio, in discendenza diretta dalle ville romane. In questi opifici rurali, comunità di famiglie, contadini e coloni, scandivano la loro vita secondo i ritmi della terra e della sua coltivazione, mentre oggi le masserie sono diventate uno dei tesori del territorio, ambite come dimore residenziali o stagionali, e soprattutto come alberghi, resort e aziende agrituristiche. Ancora oggi in molte masserie è possibile ritrovare tutti gli edifici che caratterizzavano la vita di quel tempo: alloggiamenti per i braccianti, stalle, frantoi, cappelle per il culto.
Old farm-house
Farms are the matrons, linked to the history of the territory, in direct descent from the Roman villas.
In these rural factories, communities of families, farmers and settlers led their lives according to the rhythms of the land and its cultivation, but now the farms have become one of the treasures of the area, residential or seasonal houses, especially used as hotels, resorts and tourist farms. Today in many farms you can find all the buildings that characterized the life of that time, housing for labourers, stables, mills, chapels for worship.
